Communicative facade.
Africa – for us still the unknown continent, possesses a several thousand year old culture. It is expressed particularly in traditional African stories woven around a pantheon of gods and mythical figures. Also myths, legends, fables, songs and proverbs that play a part in African mythology and African life are part of the content.
The facade of the African countries explores this richness like a “poem” about Africa.
The pavilion of the African countries communicates itself through a media facade, a dynamic membrane that radiates the interior message of the pavilion to the exterior.
